AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF HARRISON COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE GEORGE E. OHR ARTS AND CULTURAL CENTER, IN BILOXI, MISSISSIPPI; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

SECTION 1. The Board of Supervisors of Harrison County, Mississippi, in its discretion, may contribute funds to the George E. Ohr Arts and Cultural Center, in Biloxi, Mississippi, out of any available funds, in an amount not to exceed Two Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($250,000.00). Such contribution may be made in annual payments during the 1999 and 2000 calendar years, with the aggregate sum of such payments not to exceed Two Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($250,000.00).

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
